After achieving a bachelor's degree in science and engineering from Qingdao University in China,
I came to Canada to start my adventure with graphic design at BCIT.

The first job I got was the graphic designer position at What's in Media Group. To be successful with the work, I developed solid communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under time pressure.

Since August 2018, I  was the lead graphic designer of two weekly magazines, Real Estate Guide and Canadian City Post, which collectively have over 10,000 subscribers. My job was to determine the ideal layout, and ensured that page text and images were balanced and created a natural flow for the reader to follow.
